Hey Y'all!!!
I am so honored to be Miss Junior Teen United States 2008!
Nationals was a blast, and I met so many beautiful and accomplished young women that amazing week. The crowning moment will remain unforgettable, and I loved the confetti drop it made that entire night magical!
My life has been a whirlwind since that fateful night, July 17, 2008, and God continues to bless me. Immediately following Nationals, I attended a Christian youth conference where I shared my faith and testimony and was asked to speak to young women in a program called Covered Girls. It's a program to raise the self-esteem of young women, and I am grateful to be able to impact young women in a positive way.
Upon returning to Atlanta, GA, my community was thrilled that I brought the national crown home. They had given me a wonderful send off party before the pageant, so our newspapers wrote articles and published photos describing my special moment. My school (North Atlanta High School) requested that I appear at back to school events, and my principal (Mr. Mark MyGrant) even attended finale night and witnessed my crowning moment!! I have had so much support from my home state of Georgia and I'm proud to be a GA peach!
Last weekend, I had a fabulous photo shoot for Super Models Unlimited Magazine! It was just like the photo shoots seen on America's Top Model, and I couldn't have asked a better photography team than Matt and Meredith Boyd. I can't wait to see the final photos and I'll cherish the memory for a lifetime.
Everyday is a new experience and I'll be updating you on my new endeavors. Until next time, take care and my God continue to bless you.
Queen Camille
