Quiana Anderson

Passionate, determined, adventurous…just a few words to describe Quiana’ Anderson. The 26 year-old resident of Sumter, South Carolina graduated from Sumter High School and went on to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Newberry College. There, she played four years on the Women’s Basketball team, served on various groups and organizations and was crowned Newberry College Homecoming Queen 2004 and Miss Newberry College 2005. In May of 2008, Quiana’ graduated from the University of Phoenix-Columbia with her MBA in Marketing. Quiana' is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leander and Joann Anderson. She has two brothers LJ, 23 and Reco, 21.

As Ms. United States Quiana' has chosen to empower young women by building character enrichment through mentoring programs. She is passionate about inspiring and equipping young people with the tools they need for success. Quiana' has spent several years of her life working with her father's youth and family-related programs. She devotes much of her time speaking to girls at SC Department of Juvenile Justice, summer camps, conferences and seminars which target young females, educators, mentors and parents. Quiana' is working towards building a mentoring and character enrichment program that will empower teens ages 10 through 19 and provide them with the leadership and social skills needed to succeed in life.
